Range of awnings by Stobag

Cassetted
Cassetted awnings are fully sealed when closed, preventing all types of damage. At AEL we strongly recommend cassetted awnings. Cassetted awnings are available from 2m long by 1.6m projection up to 7m long and up to 4m projection.

Semicassetted
With a semicassette, the awning is partially protected from the elements when closed. Semicassetted awnings are available from 2m long by 1.5m projection, up to 18m by 4m projection.

Jumbo
Ultra strong with sturdy telescopic arms, suitablefor windier sites.Jumbo sizes range from 4m long by 3.5m projectionup to a huge 18m long by 5m projection. Motor drive fitted as standard.

Freestanding Double Awnings
Using two back-to-back awnings on a goalpost-type frame, freestanding awnings provide shade and shelter for large areas. Available up to 6m long by 7m wide if on above-ground concrete stands and up to 18m by 10m using metal ground sockets and a metal framework.

Alfresco
With a front drop, Alfresco awnings provide additional shade and shelter. Available from 4m long. The ideal smoking zone solution.

Awning frameworks are powder coated, corrosion resistant, extruded aluminium.

Accessories and options

Motors
Motors are optional but highly recommended on smaller awnings as, in addition to being labour-saving they allow remote control and weather-sensor automation. Motors are required on larger awnings.

Remote control and weather sensors
Remote control units speed and simplify opening and closing, helping to ensure that awnings are protected when not in use. Wind sensors ensure reliable automatic protection from sudden weather changes. They can be hard-wired or, for simpler installation, can switch on the motors by wireless remote. Combined wind and sun sensors are also available.

Fabrics
Stobag awning fabrics are available in more than 350 designs.

Acrylic fibre awning fabrics are high-performance products with high colour-fastness (UV rating 7 to 8/8) and are mould, water and dirt resistant. With proper care, Stobag awning fabrics will give many years of safe, comfortable protection from the sun.

Valances
Valances are optional but ideal for logos and branding. We recommend a 150–180mm valance.

Signage & Branding
Awnings are recognised as prime opportunities for signage and branding. Signs and branding logos can be printed onto the awning itself and on the valance.

Installation
AEL’s expert team fit and install all awnings. AEL are experienced with all types of sites including the installation of awnings on listed buildings.

Heat & Light
Lights and infra-red wall heaters can be readily installed under awnings, adding greatly to their usefulness and attractiveness, particularly as smoking zones.
