Harder that TeakCourbaril timber is similar to Teak but Courbaril is denser thus making it heavier, stronger and extremely durable in commercial applications. 

The timber is kiln dried before being machined. All furniture fittings used are zinc plated and passivated to prevent rusting.  

Courbaril furniture can be left exposed to the elements in which case it will turn a silvery colour with age.  Alternatively it can be stained annually to maintain it's colour.
