Holmes Sweet Home in Crewe wanted to transform its outdoor area into a space that guests could enjoy all year round. They needed something practical yet stylish — an inviting setting where people could relax, dine, and socialise in comfort. With the rise of outdoor dining and evening gatherings, it was important to create a flexible space that worked for both daytime and nighttime use.

The Challenge for Holmes Sweet Home 

The challenge was to design an outdoor area that catered to different occasions while staying true to the character of the venue. It had to offer comfort, durability, and a welcoming atmosphere, no matter the season. From casual lunches in the sun to lively evening drinks, the space needed a dining chair set of 4 to flow effortlessly with the rhythm of the day.

Our Solution

We designed a space that blends comfort, durability, and style. Scaffold benches and a Cooper circular bench provide sociable seating, while Alsace armchairs and tables add comfort for relaxed dining. For everyday use, scaffold table bases paired with light oak vintage tabletops create a sturdy, stylish setup. Also, to make the area welcoming in every season, we added Chablis parasols for shade, festoon lighting for evening ambience, and planters to bring natural character.

The Result

The result is an outdoor space that guests love. People can now enjoy long afternoons in the sun or soak up the ambience of evenings under the festoon lights. The area feels both stylish and practical, which means guests have more reasons to stay longer and come back again.
