Anglesey Barn Wedding Venue in Wales wanted to upgrade its terrace to create a premium, weather-protected space that complemented its coastal setting. The Challenge for Anglesey Barn

Located on the Welsh coast, the terrace is exposed to strong winds, salt air, and unpredictable weather. The venue needed a structure robust enough to withstand coastal conditions while remaining elegant enough for weddings and private events.

The design also had to maximise views across the coastline, provide year-round shelter for guests, and incorporate heating and lighting to support events in every season.

Our Solution

We designed, manufactured, and installed a bespoke structure with a silver sloped roof, finished in marine-grade paint to suit the coastal environment.

The installation included:

• Parapet glass and rear screening to improve safety and enclosure without losing openness

• Integrated LED lighting and infrared heating for year-round comfort

• Decorative ceiling finishes and final trims for a polished look

The result is a durable yet elegant glazed terrace that delivers protection, comfort, and a premium setting for weddings and events.

Anglesey Barn now benefits from a fully enclosed yet light-filled coastal terrace that works throughout the year. The bespoke glazed structures protect guests from wind and rain while maintaining uninterrupted sea views — a key feature for weddings and events.

The addition of infrared heating and integrated lighting allows the venue to host ceremonies, receptions, and celebrations comfortably in all seasons, significantly increasing usable event space and revenue potential.
