Project overview
This client wanted to get more use from their existing beachside terrace. They had existing giant umbrellas but wanted to take the area to the next level with not only a versatile overhead cover but also the ability to offer some side protection for when the wind picked up and made outside dining impossible.
We conducted a survey of the area and suggested 2 retractable louvred units with adaptable pavement screens that could be raised or lowered depending on the weather and mood with added heating and lighting. We assisted the client with planning permission by supplying drawings and all relevant information.
A later addition was made to soften the external look, by cladding the aluminium structure with scaffold boards, this update put the new units more in keeping with their rustic surroundings.
