The Challenge for The Cunning Man Pub

The pub’s outdoor space needed more shelter and comfort for guests, particularly during unpredictable British weather. The goal was to design an area that would encourage visitors to stay longer and return more often, while also making the most of available space. The solution had to be practical, cost-effective, and add real character to the pub’s exterior.

Our Solution

To meet these needs, AEL Outdoor Solutions installed one of our former showroom pergola units, giving it a second life in a brand-new setting. This practical yet stylish addition provides a sheltered outdoor area where guests can dine or enjoy drinks year-round. By repurposing the louvred roof pergola, we not only delivered a sustainable solution but also enhanced the pub’s charm with a structure that blends perfectly into its country setting.
