The Challenge for The Eagle

The courtyard, though full of potential, wasn’t being used to its fullest. With unpredictable British weather and high daily footfall, it needed to be more than just visually appealing. It had to be durable, practical, and usable throughout the seasons, without sacrificing the charm that draws people in. Greene King needed a setup of outdoor furniture and umbrellas that enhanced customer comfort and supported smooth service, even during peak hours.

 

The Solution

We designed a custom outdoor setup tailored to The Eagle’s needs and aesthetic.

• Installed a bespoke butterfly awning and giant umbrella to provide reliable shelter, allowing guests to enjoy the outdoors rain or shine.

• Added walnut-effect Dura tabletops paired with Triesta side chairs for timeless style and durable performance that suits the traditional setting.

• Fitted a custom-built drinks shelf to streamline service and help staff work efficiently during busy times.

Every element, including the outdoor furniture and umbrellas, was chosen for its quality, resilience, and ability to blend seamlessly with the venue’s character.
