The hotel wanted to create a stunning Michelin star restaurant with amazing views of Watergate Bay. The retractable roof structure is on the first-floor terrace above the sea wall, the design proposed was a flat retractable roof system which features remote controlled height adjustable glass walls and heating with the covered terrace linking to the restaurant seamlessly via bifold doors. This project showcased AEL’s ability to design and manage a logistically challenging installation.
