AEL were contracted to install retractable canopies above an outstanding 14th floor restaurant roof terrace as part of an extensive development in Shoreditch. Seabird restaurant features Stobag Bavona soft top roofs which were delivered a year ahead of install ahead of the dismantling of the site tower crane.

Hotel Chocolat took St Neots by storm when they opened up their outlet café. We became involved as they wanted to expand their offering to outside. The main aim of the project was to design and build a way of ensuring their customers felt safe eating and drinking outside due to Covid.

The hotel wanted to create a stunning Michelin star restaurant with amazing views of Watergate Bay. The retractable roof structure is on the first-floor terrace above the sea wall, the design proposed was a flat retractable roof system…

A full garden redevelopment, AEL assisted in the transformation of the large outdoor area to a statement space. The original space was generous for the area but bland and underutilised with a large umbrella and a smattering of picnic benches.
